Meet Our Damage Control Team

Carmen Sigler: Owner

By 1996 DCR was becoming established. Bob Sigler asked Carmen, his daughter, if she would be interested in learning the business to franchise out West where she had been living. Carmen came home and learned how to estimate and run projects as well as cultivate relationships in the insurance industry. Eventually Bob promoted her to General Manager and she began to build a team of talented people to grow the company. Carmen made the decision to focus on the local market to stay true to the family business roots that had made DCR successful. Outside of DCR Carmen enjoys life on her mini farm with her daughter, Evelyn, their horses, dogs and cats.

Bob Sigler: Adviser and Former Owner

Bob Sigler has been fascinated with the way things work and are built since childhood. His first building project was helping to finish the family home when he was a teenager. He ran an apple orchard and cider mill through the 1970’s. To supplement his farming income he became a fireman and started a small remodeling company on the side which eventually became his full-time profession. Bob went to work as a commercial project manager in the 1980’s and then became a commercial contractor on his own. In 1989 an old friend and painter from his firefighter days, Bill Lee, contacted Bob and asked if he was interested in an insurance restoration job. After completing that first job Bob found that this niche construction industry was a perfect fit for the lifetime of skills he had accumulated. Bob hired Bill to market this new business and together they started to build DCR into what it is today. Bob personally completed over $150,000,000 in projects during his 30 years at DCR. In 2019 Bob retired from DCR after 30 years. He stays (very) busy being an awesome grandpa uses his construction skills to keep Carmen’s farm running or helping his other two children with various projects. The rest of his time is spent with his sweetie, Margie, traveling and listening to music.
